About 7 years ago David Tyler came to Thailand backpacking. His intention was to simply take in a few temples, sample the local beers and cuisine, and simply chill out by wandering around one of Southeast Asia’s most beautiful and exotic countries. He got much more than he bargained for! Finding himself on Koh Tao - a small island in the gulf of Thailand – David ventured onto a diving course, something that changed his life completely. “Diving is more addictive than anything,” says David, “and after 6 months I had become a PADI Assistant instructor and was earning my living as a PADI divemaster.” A year later he was located on Khao San Road helping other travellers get the diving buzz.

Frankly, there isn’t much about diving in Thailand that David doesn’t know – in fact he’s forgotten more than most people ever knew!
