We received this from Neil who visits
prisoners on a regular basis:
Scott Hurford, 30 years, is from England.
He would like to be visited and give permission
to have his photo published.
If you are interested in visiting him, he is
in building 6 (important to state this) of Bang
Kwang prison. You can visit this building between
08.00-12.00 and 13.00-1600 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
If anyone wants to take anything (i.e.
cigarettes, toiletries, etc.) its easiest
to buy at the shop there which is specifically
for prisoners. If you could get them something,
it goes without saying, it would be greatly
appreciated.
I know you already have a section on
visiting written by a lady. Its very good
and informative. But could you add it
only costs 150 Baht in a taxi - some people
may not like taking to the water!
In addition, I should note you don't
have to go through the embassy to visit
prisoners, just go on days and times specified,
take your passport and the name of the
prisoner you want to visit, along with
he building number. The procedure there
is as on your existing page.
Hopefully with the information in front
of them, it may get more people to visit
them.
Many thanks,
Neil
