Great accommodation...
  ...at one with the environment

Phranakorn-Nornlen Hotel is a perfect blend of elegance and convenience, all with the environment in mind. The hotel is located about 20 minutes walk from Khao San Road and conveniently located for key tourist attractions such as the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and China Town. Nestled next to the calming influence of the giant Buddha image located at Wat Intharawihan - a spectacular sight, especially with nighttime illumination - Phranakorn-Nornlen offers a tranquil place for visitors to relax after exploring the Thailand's frenetic capital.

This is one place in Bangkok where you can actually hear the birds sing! The hotel has been tastefully decorated with an old world 'back Soi' theme where each floor has been designed to look like an old Bangkok streets - right down to the street signs! The hotel has a strong artistic theme. Rooms have their own identity and there is even a gallery displaying the work of local artists.

Run by Khun Rose, who works for an NGO concerned with environmental issues, Phranakorn-Nornlen has been designed with the local environment in mind. Breakfast is included and comprises only vegetarian food. Care has been taken to ensure that Phranakorn-Nornlen even has a positive impact on the local economy, with local vendors providing food for guests. A look in the hotels guestbook indicates just how this positive approach has reflected on the guests' stay:
