Muay Thai Gym at Horizon Thai Boxing Camp on Koh Phangan

At Horizon Thai Boxing Camp we encourage men, women and children to train alongside one another. We hold two daily training sessions (except Saturdays). The first is a lighter session and runs from 7:30 to 9:30am. Some of this training session takes place on the beach. The more intensive afternoon session is up at the camp and runs from 4 to 6pm. Our focus is on ensuring you practice the proper Muay Thai techniques, particularly at the beginner level. For those at more advanced levels our trainers place increasing emphasis on fitness and conditioning. If you have already mastered the basic Muay Thai techniques our instructors are ready to take you further. Although this routine is suitable for highly conditioned boxers, we cater for people at all levels, including complete Muay Thai novices. Training intensity will vary, under the guidance of qualified instruction, according to your fitness level and requirements. Contact is optional and there is no pressure to push your self really hard. We use only good-quality Muay Thai Gear and our instructors' priority is your safety. We have a full-size Muay Thai boxing stadium at Horizon Thai Boxing Camp, Koh Phangan Thailand.

The air is clean and the atmosphere welcoming at Horizon Thai Boxing Camp on the east coast of tropical island Koh Phangan, in Thailand's south seas. Overlooking the crystal waters of Haad Tien Bay, Horizon Thai Boxing Camp offers a unique learning environment. Under qualified instruction you can train alongside Muay Thai boxing students from around the world. The camp, built almost entirely from natural materials is within easy walking distance of three palm-fringed beaches. There is no road (access to our beach is by boat or by foot) so we are secluded from the, sometimes, intrusive nightlife that Thailand is so famous for. But Horizon Thai Boxing Camp is by no means isolated. Nearby there are other bars, restaurants and accommodations as well as a spa and yoga centre. In the nearby small town of Haad Rin (a 10-minute boat ride away) you can find all necessary amenities: banks, a modern hospital, telephones, internet, well-stocked pharmacy, general stores, dive shops and all the shopping and night clubs that you might wish for. Where could be better to learn the techniques and traditions of this ancient form of close-quarter combat, Muay Thai Boxing, than its birthplace - THAILAND?
