Trying to Trace an Uncle...
Paul Stringer
writes: "Hi, I'm trying to track down my uncle James
O'Neill. He is believed to frequent various SE Asia countries.
James is a fantastic musician, most notably with the Piano
and will likely not be far from the music world. He also
enjoys the "odd flutter" on horses and such." Click

Sighting...

Ton Smale writes:
"We have received an e-mail from an American who
claims that he saw a person who looks like Georgo
Leydekkers from your Missing Persons page in Bangkok.
It reads: 'The photo of the person you are inquiring about
resembles a foreigner I encountered panhandling in front
of the post office in Bangkok, not far from the Sheration
Royal Orchid Hotel. This was in late August 2007. The
person had the same facial features, beard, and body build
except he wore his long hair in the dreadlock fashion
common to the Rastafarians'". If anyone living
in this area is able to check this sighting out for Ton,
please do so, and perhaps contact Ton to let him know.

During the weekend Friday 13 to Sunday 15 June 2008, Khun
Kanitha Kasina-Ubol, Acting General Manager, will lead
Siam Society members to visit some seldom-visited beaches,
a forest reserve, and the Sam Roi Yot (Three Hundred Peaks)
National Park. These little-visited beaches are in Bang
Saphan, Bang Saphan Noi and Pathiu districts of Prachuap
Khiri Khan and Chumphorn provinces. Khao Sam Roi Yot National
Park is located some 320 kilometers south of Bangkok,
and consists of great limestone hills plunging into the
Gulf of Thailand. The highest point rises to 605 meters,
and commands superb views of this meeting point of land

Isaan By Motorbike...

"OK this is it, almost ready to go.
My bag was packed and my very loose plans were made. I
had a place to stay for the night; a friend of my girlfriend
put me up for the first night. This was a long ride, maybe
400 kilometres on the
first day. I wanted to go this far so I could make good
headway into the journey and have more time later on to
look around and rest. I got the confirmation for my accident
insurance, just in time! Right, had a shower and breakfast,
one last check of the bag then time to go. My days ride
was from Bangkok
to Borabue, close to Roi Et in Isaan." Follow Spider

“After 2 years of great times the owners of Sabah Cafe
are having to return to their home country and consequently
wish to pass on their successful business. Sabah is primarily
a cafe though our menu does not consist of the usual European
style cafe food of cakes and the like. We serve espresso
coffee, teas, juices, the usual soft drinks and alcohol.
Our food menu revolves around traditional English/American
style breakfast, a range of salads, Mexican, hamburgers
and European style home cooked dinners." This place

KSR area. If you are interested in a sound business, click
