He worked on Khao San Road in the travel industry for a number of years before starting his own operation. As a result, he has a very solid idea of what travelers and tourists need. Since his Khao San Road days he has grown from strength to strength and is famed for excellent customer service and providing a reliable series of products. Unlike most Khao San Road travel agents, they can print tickets out for you immediately – no waiting for deliveries. Olavi Tours have been on Khao San Road for a while now and certainly know the score. They offer the usual travel services including flights, hotel reservations, trains, and package tours. Visa service and tickets delivered directly to hotel rooms. They accept bookings over te telephone. Aside from travel they have first-rate computer facilities - 6 computers hooked to the Internet for 1 Baht per minute. 56K modem connection, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Chinese and French fonts. The manger speaks good English! A pretty together place.

Run by Isreali manager Gil Ragowsky, Blue and White Travel Center has been on Khao San Road since the beginning of 1993. Blue and White specialises in flights, hotel bookings and private tours. A typical 3-day Blue and White tour to Chiang Mai costs around 17,000 Baht per person including flights and hotel. They do not provide ticket booking for trains or buses. Between them the staff at Blue and White have around sixty years of experience in the travel business. As a result they offer reliability - Blue and White has good connections with airlines and can often smooth the waters when things get rough! They will soon have a luggage storing service and internet service.
