The School of International Training (SIT) has been a leader in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) for more than 30 years and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its teacher training programs. The SIT TESOL Certificate Course provides participants with professional knowledge and skills for teaching English as a second language. It also offers participants the tools for their own reflection and professional development. The course is offered four times each year and provides practical training through teaching demonstrations, lesson planning and analysis, teaching practice and feedback. Participants examine specific teaching areas and apply the insights they gain to their daily practice of teaching adult learners of second languages.
